The case could be made for really any of the Dark Souls games or even predecessor Demon’s Souls to be on this list but we’re going with the first Dark Souls as it’s largely responsible for starting the trend that other titles like Nioh have tried to latch onto in recent years. Comprehending the Functioning of Societies While other game developers go out of their way to make sure players do not get too frustrated, FromSoftware takes the opposite path. Dark Souls is a game that revels in your screams and laughs at your tears. There is simply no amount of leveling up that will save you if you don’t know how to “get good.”
The gameplay was snappy and fast, challenging you to be fast and precise simultaneously. In my opinion, no game has come closer to the difficulty Super Meat Boy showered us with. The good thing about Super Meat Boy was that no matter how many times you died, you came back quickly.

Each level poses a new challenge in World’s Hardest Game. Some levels might require you to move quickly and react fast, and other levels require you to slow it down. Before you start each level take a second to look it over. This will help you save some time on pointless restarts that could’ve been avoided. See if you notice any spots on the map where blue balls don’t reach, these spots will be your safe spots on the map. You also should pay attention to how fast the blue balls are moving. Some might be moving fast, and others might be moving slower.
