The game features more than 100 unlockable characters to play as, including more than 20 dinosaur species, such as Velociraptor, Brachiosaurus, Ankylosaurus, Stegosaurus, Triceratops and Tyrannosaurus. The first instance, in 1922, was a five-game series after Game 2 ended in a tie. The Giants won the other four games, which technically makes it a 4-0 sweep. Forty-one years later, the Dodgers swept the Yankees with Sandy Koufax winning MVP. The most recent time the Yankees were swept was in 1976, when Johnny Bench and the Reds rolled to the title.
With two outs and the offense slumping, the Yankees were willing to roll the dice. But given where the ball was hit and who was running, the gamble was massive. The predictable result meant the Yankees squandered another chance with men on base. Instead of runners on the corners and Anthony Rizzo at the plate, the inning was over.
Big D M.: As a neutral, The difference between these teams isn’t the stars. They both have plenty of those. Rather, the Dodgers have real ballplayers at the bottom of the the order and the bottom of the roster. The Yankees are thin behind the big guys.
The Yankees used their top bullpen arms on Tuesday to hold on to their lead, and while they’ll be available if needed on Wednesday – this is an elimination game – it’s asking a lot to expect them to shut down the Dodgers again. This is Cole’s game as long as he can take it. It’s on his shoulders. This is why he’s here.

The Downpour expansion adds five new campaigns, which are set during different points in the timeline, and enables local multiplayer for story modes. Each campaign features a new slugcat with new abilities. Spearmaster can create an infinite amount of spears at will, but throwing them at other creatures is the only way that it can eat. Rivulet is nearly twice as fast as Survivor, has a higher jump and overall increased agility, and is a much more adept swimmer, but has extremely short days. Gourmand has access to a crafting system and can damage creatures by falling or sliding into them, but excessive physical activities cause them to enter a weak-winded state where they must stop to catch their breath. Artificer can double jump and create explosives, but can’t hold their breath underwater and is locked at the lowest karma level, forcing them to use other methods to pass karma gates. Saint has a grappling tongue that gives them large amounts of mobility, but is unable to throw spears or eat meat. Downpour also adds three new game modes. The first is Safari mode, which lets players freely observe the world without worry and control any living creature within it. After that is Challenge mode, which provides 70 unique scored challenges with preset conditions. Finally, there is Expedition, which is a semi-roguelike mode with random missions that award experience points upon completion. Downpour’s release was accompanied by the free Rain World Remix upgrade, which added accessibility options, ways to customize game difficulty, and better modding support.
When the player reaches the Depths, they discover a temple guarded by strange beings. Thanks to either the assistance of Five Pebbles or the blessings of the Echoes, which bestow a higher potential for Karma, they let the Slugcat pass without trouble. Deep within the temple lies a lake of void fluid into which the player must dive. After diving for some time, a godlike being assists the Slugcat in ascending. Its old life gone, Slugcat swims through the void along with many identical looking duplicates of them that copy the player’s movements. After meeting the other Slugcats a white light appears, which the player must swim into, which finishes the game, showing one final cutscene before the credits. If playing as Survivor, the ending cutscene shows them renuting with their tribe at the Slugcat tree seen in the cutscene at the very beginning of the game. If playing as Monk, they are seen reuniting with Survivor in the Void Sea.
Here on Switch, I was rather surprised by how silky smooth the game ran. Sure, the many updates have no doubt played a big part in keeping Rain World a super polished experience, but everything looked crisp, albeit with a small font size, and the game ran smooth enough unless a ton of enemies were to come on screen, something that I didn’t have happen to me outside of goofing off in the sandbox mode. No complaints about performance here, the game just looked and felt great on my Switch Lite.
On the menu selection screen, Artificer appears a dull red, despite their disappearance during the final scene. Unique to Artificer, two faint lights can be seen behind them, one green and one light blue.

Vaughn’s enemies would have included eight dinosaur species and four different types of military officers. A fictionalized version of Troodon with glowing eyes would have been featured in the game, and was later implemented into Jurassic Park: The Game (2011). Dinosaur AI was meant to be an integral part of the game; dinosaurs would be able to lure the main character into traps, hunt in packs, and retreat for reinforcements if needed.
Seen from the third-person perspective, Vaughn was to explore the island, finding and rescuing scientists and other security members, locating new weapons, and discovering phenomenally large locales, such as swamps, dense forests, huge underground caves and networks of tunnels, and military outposts. Unlike previously thought, this game was not going to be based on Jurassic Park III.

Alongside the announcement, Saber Interactive released an announcement trailer where we can see the game in action. We’re quickly thrust into the now-damaged original Jurassic Park in the fictional Isla Nublar the day after the facility was evacuated. In it, we can see scattered dinosaur bones and a crumbling staircase.
